Enrolment in the Law Enforcement Service is ‘regionalised’ in Lower Saxony Although you apply to a central office, the Police Academy, for a place, you are enrolled according to where you will later serve. This means both that you are required to state in your application which area of Lower Saxony you later wish to serve in; as well as that you can and must expect to be transferred to the riot police after graduation and a period of service in this field.
