Welcome! – Information and Support for Refugees from Ukraine

Right now, many people from Ukraine are forced to flee their country to escape from a horrible war. The universities of Lower Saxony stand against war and violence, and in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

If you had to flee from Ukraine and would now like to study or continue your studies from Ukraine, the universities of Lower Saxony welcome you. Many universities have set up contact points for Ukrainian students or prospective students. They will answer your questions, give you guidance and all the necessary information.

Contacts and Guidance

All refugees with questions about studying in Lower Saxony can find guidance at a university near them. Look out for the Student Advisory Services ("Zentrale Studienberatungsstelle", often "ZSB" for short) or the International Office (sometimes also called "Akademisches Auslandsamt").

Here we have listed all the counsellors and contacts designated to guide those students and prospective students who had to flee from the war in Ukraine. On this map you will find an overview of all universities in Lower Saxony. All contacts are listed below the map. If you are unsure about which university to contact, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We will forward your enquiry to the right contact person.
