Admission to the Master's degree course in Media and Music requires an academic degree in one of the following undergraduate degree courses: Communication, Journalism or Media Studies, Musicology or a music-related artistic-academic degree course, a music-related degree course with musicological or music-educational components or other academic components elementary for the Master's in Media and Music worth at least 20 credit points, in exceptional cases an undergraduate degree course in another subject.
You are also expected to have: a special aptitude for the subjects of the Media and Music degree course as well as German language proficiency of at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for applicants who do not have a German higher education entrance qualification.
Mastering an instrument is not a requirement for the Media and Music degree course.
