Studying at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen (HAWK) is diverse, lively and human. Here, students are given the space to develop their own talents. Study Programme - Main Focus

HAWK offers a wide range of degree programmes in the fields of design, health, social services, construction, sustainability, technology and economics. Cross-disciplinary projects and individualised study programmes ensure that students' knowledge extends beyond their chosen subject and that they are prepared for future challenges. Degree programmes with vocational and academic elements, career-integrated studies as well as other flexible study options complete the range of programmes on offer. Small class sizes and dedicated teaching staff are advantages that students themselves highlight at HAWK.

Background - The Insight

Electric racing cars made by HAWK! Students in the interdisciplinary design team "Blue Flash" develop and build a "life-size" electrically powered vehicle every year. Students from fields such as engineering, design and economics work closely together, take part in international races, even drive the E-HAWK racing car themselves – and get fit for their professional future within the project.

HAWK is the most creative university in the Art Directors Club (ADC) ranking! Thanks to its Faculty of Design, HAWK leads the ADC Creative Index in Germany with 137 points. The ADC Creative Index is determined by Germany's largest competition for young talent. The index is specifically designed for creative degree programmes at universities to provide guidance in the increasingly complex creative industry.
